The BF James Pool features a heated pool, bathhouse with showers and lockers, aquatic programs and lessons. The pool is available for rental before and after regular pool hours. Open & Lap Swim hours: Monday through Saturday, 11:00am- 5:00pm. Lessons, camps, other activities as scheduled.

Bankshot™ is a new game of skill and challenge that is often described as a "mini golf, but with a basketball." Players of all ages and abilities, including disabled participants, proceed through a course of angled, curved and non-conventionally configured brightly colored backboards, banking shots off the Bankboards™ and through the rims. Bankshot™ Sports are non-aggressive and entirely inclusionary. Participants play alongside, not against, each other.

A Bankshot™ course consists of a varying number of stations-depending upon the size of the court-each with a uniquely shaped Bankboard™. Each Bankshot™ requires a different banked shot to score. Some shots demand caroms off two Bankboards™. Some are ricochets and some diabolically maddening shots have three Bankboards™ and two rims. Players may use a scorecard to track their score as they shoot increasingly difficult shots at each of the stations.

The Multi-Purpose Field at Peter Bluesten Park is an artificial turf field, striped for both official and U12 size fields.

The City of Hallandale Beach offers Stage Facilities at Peter Bluesten Park and South City Beach Park

The stage at South City Beach Park also can be reserved as a Pavilion seating 32 on it's four picnic tables. The picnic tables can be removed for performances. The elevated stage at Peter Bluesten Park overlooks the multi-purpose field. The field/ greenspace must also be reserved for all performances at Peter Bluesten Park.

Stage use may require a Temporary Use Permit from the City. A facility rental permit from the Parks Department is also required prior to use.

The City of Hallandale Beach offers pavilions and/or gazebos at Foster, Golden Isles, Ingalls, Peter Bluesten, and South City Beach Parks. Pavilions and/ or gazebos are available on a first come first serve basis unless reserved. Vehicular access to the pavilion/ gazebo is not allowed. Rental period includes all set up and clean up time.

Please remember, the following uses require a reservation:
`Amplified Sound requires a permit and may not be heard more than 100 feet from a pavilion/ gazebo.
`Inflatable amusement devices are allowed, such as a bounce house, as part of a pavilion reservation at Foster and Ingalls Parks only per the Facility Reservation Policies. Insurance is required.
`Cooking is prohibited outdoors at all parks with the exception of Ingalls Park. Outdoor cooking at Ingalls Park is only allowed as part of a pavilion reservation and only allowed in grills installed by the City of Hallandale Beach. No other grills are allowed at any facility at any time.
`Decorations may not be affixed to the park property. Decoration of any kind requires a reservation.
