How do I create an online account?

A valid email address is required to create an account. Return to the home screen and select Register. Follow the instructions for creating a new household. The following information must be provided to Parks Administration before your household can be activated:

  • Current Government Issued Photo ID for all adult members of the household
  • Birth Certificates for all household members under the age of 18. Passports are not accepted as verification of birth date.
  • If you are a Hallandale Beach resident please provide two proofs of residency (current utility bill, etc)

Who can register a child for programs and services?

Registration, permission forms, and/or waivers will not be accepted from anyone who has not been confirmed as the child's natural or legal guardian.

The City of Hallandale Beach abides by all laws relating to the guardianship of children. Therefore, only birth parents and/or adopted parents are recognized as a child's natural guardian pursuant to Florida Statutes 744.301 . Proof is obtained through a copy of the child's birth certificate along with current government issued photo identification of the parent(s) which must be presented prior to registration or completing a waiver. Passports are not accepted as verification of birth date for children.

Legal guardianship must be through a current court order, issued by a judge, granting temporary or permanent guardianship. A copy of the court order must be provided prior to registering or completing a waiver. A copy of the child's birth certificate along with current government issued photo identification of the guardian(s) is also required. Passports are not accepted as verification of birth date for children. Pursuant to Florida Statutes 744.306(1) , foreign guardianship requires registration with the court of the residence County. Original proof of filing with the County must be provided prior to registering or completing a waiver.


Do I need an online account to register for programs?

No, you may continue to register for programs in person by visiting the Cultural Community Center or your local recreation center. If you desire the convenience of online registration, you will need to set up an online account.


How do I retrieve my user id and password?

Go to the Forgotten Password page and enter your email address


Who can see my credit card information?

Our online registration system has a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate that guarantees your data is secure in transit to a specially qualified PCI compliant third party processor. The City does not store any credit card information.


What payment types are accepted?

Our online registration system accepts VISA, Mastercard and AMEX. We also accept cash, money order and bank check in person. We do not accept 3rd party payments. Checks are only accepted 90 days or more prior to use.


What is the refund policy for programs, activities, and/or rentals?

The refund policy can be found at the bottom of every page of our online system.

How do I rent a Hallandale Beach facility?

Facility details and availability can be viewed at Rental Facilities. Facility reservations must be made in person by an adult at least 21 years of age or older at one of the following locations:

  • Cultural Community Center, 410 SE 3rd Street (Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:30pm)
  • Your local Hallandale Beach Recreation Center (hours vary)

Please bring the following information:

  • Current Government Issued Photo ID for all adult members of the household
  • If you are a Hallandale Beach resident please bring two proofs of residency (current utility bill, etc.)

How do I reserve a Marina Slip?

Marina Information can be viewed at City Marina. Transient slip availability may be requested by contacting us by phone at (954) 457-1653 or email at [email protected].

In an effort to fairly assign annual slips at City Marina, all annual slips are requested by submitting a completed Marina Waitlist Application with a copy of the applicant's government issued photo ID. Applicants are placed on the waitlist in the order received.

Completed applications are accepted by email at [email protected]; or by mail to City Marina, 410 SE 3rd St, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009; or in person at:

  • Cultural Community Center, 410 SE 3rd Street (Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm)

How do I qualify for the City of Hallandale Beach Resident Rate?

City of Hallandale Beach residents are eligible for a discounted rate on select programs and services. To receive the discounted resident rate, the following information is required:

  • Current Government Issued Photo ID for all adult members of the household
  • Birth Certificate for all youth members of the household
  • Two current proofs of residency (current utility bill, current voter registration card, etc)
